Melissa Hazen is a Nutritional Coach, Personal trainer/Corrective Exercise Specialist, Life Coach and Registered Aromatherapist whose main focus is to teach people how to live in balance.
Upon completing of an eleven-year tour in the United States Marine Corps she received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Food sciences from Georgia Southern University in 2010. She went on to use this information to coach people in nutrition. She then completed her personal trainer certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. As a Fitness Professional, she has visited Romania to educate the personal training staff of a newly built gym. She completed her Masters of Science in Aromatherapy from American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2017. Where she also completed her stress management course work. She taught classes at Life Time Fitness on developing emotional awareness, nutritive balance and corrective exercise and how all it can influence quality of life. She is currently working as a wellness coach @ Total Wellness Solutions. She is often invited to teach balanced living to a variety of ages in businesses as part of their wellness program. Her most recent engagements have been at: Kredigy to discuss “The Impact of Stress”, Federal Express and Eclipse Gaming to introduce “Why Exercise” and the Southern Eastern Regional WIC conference where she ran an early morning boot camp and provided one on one health information for hundreds of the participants. When she not working, or doing research she spends time with her son and studies biblical history and natural approaches to health. She is currently looking to begin a course for massage therapy from Gwinnett College.
